sh-Oligopeptide-111 SP Amide is a single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Natriuretic Peptide, and contains 26 amino acids consisting of arginine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamine, glycine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine and valine in which the C-terminus is an amide. Natriuretic Peptide contains a maximum of 134 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. It consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
