A commercial material with this INCI is presented for hair care as a silicone copolymer based on hydrolyzed wheat protein. That use helps explain its presence in conditioners, masks, and styling products, but it does not make the isolated ingredient a treatment for hair loss, scalp disease, or existing chemical damage.
