BISABOLOL

Bisabolol occurs in different spatial forms. One of them is known as levomenol, so closely related technical names can refer to related forms of the same molecule without automatically meaning an oil, an extract, or an entire aromatic blend.
BISABOLOL: what it does in cosmetics
In a formula, bisabolol can contribute fragrance and skin conditioning. For the user, skin conditioning means aiming for skin that feels softer and more comfortable to the touch; what is noticed in use still depends on the base, the amount used, and the other ingredients in the product.
It is also used where a soothing characteristic is wanted. A clinical trial assessed a cream combining starch, glycyrrhetinic acid, zinc oxide, and bisabolol, so its result belongs to that combination and does not show that bisabolol on its own delivers the same outcome. It should not be read as a treatment for a skin condition.
